With a focus on public engagement, the graphics and signage for the Burke Museum of Natural History highlight unique attributes of the Pacific Northwest and reinforce the learning experience. Dimensional donor recognition installations that appear to be woven from a distance are actually crafted from natural wood in varying widths with the names of museum donors laser etched into each slat. A colorful donor wall in the atrium is comprised of a menagerie of animals – both living and prehistoric – native to the region.
